For several years we have sold the "Hot Light" to those hunters who want to hunt with the 4-volt mine head mounted on a 6-volt Nite Lite battery.
Of course, it is necessary to use a strobe switch with this unit to control the voltage going to the 4-volt bulb. This light is for the hunter who will use the unit at approximately 4 volts tohunt and walk with and then turn it up to full bright for shining the trees. (Continuous use of this unit at full power will blow the 4-volt bulb).
This package comes with the new Strobe Flicker Switch, the Nite Lite battery, 5100 style head, charger and the new heavy-duty hard hat.
The "Hot Light" comes with the BM30 bulb. The 1440 or 4010 bulb should never be used with this unit, as it will blow much esier and will shorten the life and burning time of the battery.
